SUMMARY:Postponed to April 6:   15th Almost Annual Joint Spring Paddle -- the South Platte Trip is Back\, but Changed!
DESCRIPTION:The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club\, Poudre Paddlers Club\, Flatwater Frogs\, Rocky Mountain Sea Kayak Club\, and High Country River Rafters will be back on the South Platte to celebrate the 2019 padding season.  Our traditional put-in at Riverside Park in Evans\, Colorado has reopened following restoration of severe damage from the September 2013 floods. But Weld County has closed the road to our Kersey takeout for bridge demolition.\n \nBecause weather on March 30 is expected to be wintery\, join us on Saturday\, April 6 (weather permitting) on a Class I\, family friendly paddle from Brighton to Ft. Lupton. \nRegistration is not required (but will get you an email if we also have to cancel our April 6 “snow date”) and non-members are welcome to join.  This is not an ACA-sanctioned trip.  \nFor more detail on the new plan\, see the 2019 South Platte joint Club Flyer Brighton to Ft Lupton or contact Kathryn Mutz at kathryn.mutz@colorado.edu
