SUMMARY:RMCC Wyoming 5 Rivers
DESCRIPTION:My wife and I discovered these rivers about 10 years ago with a CA canoeing club and have been coming back to paddle these beautiful\, empty rivers almost every year since. The rivers will include the Greys\, Gros Ventre\, Snake above Hoback Junction\, Scenic Snake\, and one TBD.  This will be a car-camping trip in the Jackson Hole region and thus unloaded boats.  We’ll be on the water around 4 hours each day in Class I-II rapids.  Look for a link to a summary and a full itinerary in May with details about the rivers\, campgrounds\, and the schedule. All participants must be comfortable paddling twisty mountain rivers with challenging Class II rapids in the type of boat they’ll be bringing or sharing.  Examples of comparable water in CO are the Filter Plant run on the Poudre and Yarmony Bridge to State Bridge on the Colorado.

SUMMARY:RMCC No. Platte Glendo to Guernsey
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nRMCC members and guests are welcome to float the North Platte River from Glendo Reservoir almost to Guernsey Reservoir. This is a fun\, day long paddling trip and I hope you can join us. It is Class I+ with one Class II section of standing waves that can be avoided; helmets required here. The float is on Saturday\, July 21.  We will be camping in Two Moon Campground in Glendo State Park on Friday night before the trip as well as Saturday night for those attending an optional  potluck. \n\n\n\nFull details can be found here: Glendo to Guernsey details. Please read the linked document as it has a lot of important information. It is also mandatory that you have a Wyoming Game & Fish Invasive Species decal for your boat and your boat also needs to be inspected when entering Wyoming. This is an ACA-sanctioned trip requiring either an ACA membership or a $5 fee per person. \nNote: the Wyoming invasive species link needs to be fixed in the flyer.
