SUMMARY:RMCC North Platte River: Glendo to Guernsey July 10 2021 Trip is Full but there's a wait list
DESCRIPTION:RMCC members and guests are welcome to float the North Platte River from Glendo Reservoir almost to Guernsey Reservoir. This is a fun\, day long paddling trip and I hope you can join us. It is Class I+ with one Class II section of standing waves that can be avoided; helmets required here. The float is on Saturday\, July 20.  Most will be camping in Two Moon Campground in Glendo State Park on Friday night (its about a 3 hour drive from Denver) before the trip as well as Saturday night for those who choose (there will be an optional  potluck that night) \nFull details can be found here:.New Glendo-to-Guernsey-details Please read the linked document as it has a lot of important information. It is also mandatory that you have a Wyoming Game & Fish Invasive Species decal for your boat and your boat also needs to be inspected when entering Wyoming. SUMMARY:North Platte River: Saratoga to I-80 -- CANCELLED due to low water
DESCRIPTION:THIS TRIP IS FULL AND NO NEW PARTICIPANTS ARE BEING ACCEPTED. \nJoin RMCC for this Class I run through the beautiful Wyoming landscape full of birds and other wildlife\, just a half-day drive from Denver. This is a 3 day\, 2 night canoe camping trip. We’ll complete the car shuttle either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning depending on logistics and begin paddling Friday morning 10am or sooner if we can manage it\, camping at Pick Bridge. Pick Bridge has 3 campsites and since we have a large group\, I would like to see if we can get a site on Thursday afternoon/evening for anyone who would like to go up Thursday afternoon or evening. On Saturday we will be paddling most of the day with an early stop at the Overland Trail Cemetery/historical site. We paddle Sunday morning and plan to take out between noon and 2:00\, allowing people time to return home Sunday afternoon or take a leisurely soak in the nearby Saratoga Hot Springs. \nIt is mandatory that you have a Wyoming Game & Fish Invasive Species decal for your boat and your boat also needs to be inspected when entering Wyoming (https://wgfd.wyo.gov/Fishing-and-Boating/Aquatic-Invasive-Species-Prevention). SUMMARY:Colorado River: Moab to Spanish bottom (canceled)
DESCRIPTION:THIS TRIP IS CANCELED DUE TO LOW WATER LEVEL AND THE INABILITY TO SHUTTLE THE BOATS. \n50 miles class I water into the spectacular deep canyons of Canyonlands National park\, Utah. The date is dependent on the return jet boat shuttle schedule and could change a bit. Reserving a shuttle requires a six person down payment. The shuttle cost is just under $200 and there will be another possibly $50 for permits and equipment rental. \nWeather permitting this will be a leisurely trip with time for walking to ruins\, petroglyphs and petrified logs. 8:30 ish morning launches could be later if the group wants 6 am hikes.
