What if we had an election and nobody ran? It’s an old rhetorical hobby horse but there’s some truth to it. This year we have five people who’ve put their names up for the seven RMCC job positions (two positions are currently vacant and being done in addition to other duties). All these folks are willing to continue for another year but many feel that a healthy organization should be renewing the officers corps with fresh bodies and fresh ideas frequently. So rather than just “let George do it”, won’t you take a look at the attached Job Descriptions document and see if there isn’t something you could be doing next year? The long term success of the club ultimately depends on it. I’ll resurface this in the new year.
