We were up in Montana paddling the North Fork of the Flathead river – this trip starts 200 yards from the Canadian Border – as close to Canada as I was expecting to get this second year of Covid. We finished up on July 30th, I think it was, and found out that the Canada border was going to be opened up on August 9th. I’d been talking to Judy H. about some of my “up north” trips, and she said she’d like to do something like that someday – now, it’s Hey! We can go do the Yukon River! And so we did.
