Join us for a beautiful morning paddle on Saturday, June 19 at Standley Lake in Westminster. Remember to bring your binoculars for spotting the many birds that make this lake their summer home including bald eagles, white pelicans, cormorants, mallard ducks and many more. If you are lucky you might even see a resident beaver. Please arrive by 8:30 and be ready to paddle by 9:00 am. Contact Kit and Henry Williams at [email protected] to register. For more information, see the Standley Lake trip flyer.
Don’t forget about the Grand Lake/Shadow Mountain Lake trip this Sunday, June 5th at 10:00. With a raptor nesting area at the end of Shadow Mountain Lake you might see an osprey catch a fish or spot elk, deer, eagles and moose. To sign up contact Tracy and Janet Hays at [email protected].
