First the bad news – it’s time to renew your Rocky Mountain Canoe Club membership for 2015 and update your Waiver.
Now the good news – the cost continues at $10 per household! As detailed in the Treasurer’s report last November, even with this reduced rate we are still running a balanced budget.
And as in previous years, we’ll continue to:
* provide a full schedule of trips of all lengths and skill levels – look for an further schedule update from Carol Duecker in the near future
* to offer club reimbursements of up to $25 per household on all first aid and safety classes completed
* provide free and low-cost classes such as Basic Canoeing, Packing and Boat Rigging for Tripping, Swift Water Rescue (dates TBD.
The forecast for summer river flows is uncertain but very promising, but we’ve definitely got a wonderfully full schedule developing for exciting day, weekend, and extended trips to tempt you out on the water this year.
Please get your renewals in (checks and waivers) and hope to see you out on the water soon. Renewals are due by the end of April. A copy of the waiver/renewal is attached.
