RMCC Wyoming 5 Rivers

My wife and I discovered these rivers about 10 years ago with a CA canoeing club and have been coming back to paddle these beautiful, empty rivers almost every year since. The rivers will include the Greys, Gros Ventre, Snake above Hoback Junction, Scenic Snake, and one TBD.  This will be a car-camping trip in the Jackson Hole region and thus unloaded boats.  We’ll be on the water around 4 hours each day in Class I-II rapids.  Look for a link to a summary and a full itinerary in May with details about the rivers, campgrounds, and the schedule. All participants must be comfortable paddling twisty mountain rivers with challenging Class II rapids in the type of boat they’ll be bringing or sharing.  Examples of comparable water in CO are the Filter Plant run on the Poudre and Yarmony Bridge to State Bridge on the Colorado.
