Planning and Permit Party and Potluck 1:30-5 pm In person. Virtual starts at 2:30

We’ll gather in person at the Greenway Park Golf Course Clubhouse. Address: 110 Greenway Drive

This will be a party. It will be a chance to see old paddling friends and meet new ones as we chat about trips we’ve done and those we hope to do. Mingling will be strongly encouraged! We’ll have some maps to help visualize river locations and hopefully serve as conversation starters.  Aspiring co-coordinators can talk in person with potential collaborators or mentors. As a part of the “formal” portion of the party, there will be some brief presentations of trip possibilities.

The potluck will include sweet or savory snacking type food. Feel free to bring finger food to share, but you are welcome whether or not you bring something!. Remember to bring your own re-usable plates and utensils (we will have back ups if you forget).

***We plan to have both a Freebie table and a Sale table for your “never again plan to use” items.   (See Dec. 22 post for details)

***The few remaining Tshirts will be available for purchase. $15, Cash or Check. There are 8 medium shirts, one 2XL, and one 3XL.

***The canoe club lending library will  be set up to borrow or return books

***Zoom link will be sent to members on Friday, Jan. 10.  Virtual meeting will start at2:30. Much of the party will be informal in person socializing, and this will not be conducive to virtual participation. Several days before the party, members will receive a link to join via Zoom. Please note that the virtual portion of these meetings is always a challenge, and issues are likely to arise. Patience is requested as we will do our best to enable virtual participation.
