Come join us for a lovely morning paddle around Standley Lake located at 100th Ave and Simms Street in Westminster. Remember to bring your binoculars for spotting the many birds that make this lake their summer home including bald eagles, white pelicans, cormorants, mallard ducks and many more. If you are lucky you might even see a resident beaver.
Arrive around 8:30 a.m. and be ready to launch from Pelican Cove Day Use Area at 9:00. There is a $10 Daily Paddle Pass. All paddle craft must enter the main entrance and will be sprayed with hot water (no chemicals) in accordance with Aquatic Nuisance Species protocols.
