We have 4 people signed up for the April 26th day trip from Florence to Pueblo Reservoir, and could use 2 or 3 more people if anyone is interested. We will be camping outside of Penrose both Friday and Saturday, and you can join us for 1 or 2 nights there.
The water is already up close to 800cfs, so the 20 miles will fly by pretty quickly. The last few miles before the lake are a state wildlife area, and there are a lot of songbirds that make their way up the river from Arkansas.
We plan to go the following weekend (May 3rd) if the weather or water levels are bad, and should know our dates by the 20th. Perhaps this Sunday will be our last snow for the season. Call me if you are interested.
