We’ll be meeting in Breckenridge Saturday night for the Annual Permit Party – a “group-think” exercise where proposed trips on the premium river which require a lottery-generated permits to float are listed with proposed dates and crews . Examples are the Yampa through Dinosaur NM, the Main and Middle Salmon in central Idaho, the Rio Chama in N. New Mexico, and the Deso-Gray Canyons on the Green in E. Utah.
This year, ALL members will be able to participate whether they make the trek to Breckenridge or not. Webmaster Anne has detailed instructions for remote participation which are listed below. And, of course, all members can also check out the generated river list after the fact (next week for instance) and join in permit requests.
