1) Beginning Canoeing: RMCC members will be able to enroll in the Poudre Paddlers spring classes again this year, but we’ll need a head count ASAP! Classes are generally held in April or May in the Ft Collins area and are low-cost (plus non-ACA members will need to pay a $5 fee).

2) Canoe Rigging and Packing for Tripping: on the schedule for April 12 in Boulder.
3) Introduction to Whitewater: PP is considering offering a class in late June/early July. Nothing firm but initial interest would be helpful – contact Bill and Eric if this is something you’d in which you’d like like to participate.This class has a prerequisite of previous classes and/or experience paddling rivers. Interested parties should tell Eric what classes and experience they have had.
4) Swiftwater Rescue: RMCC is not conducting this class but is passing along information from Sammer Elias who’s offering 2 day classes in Golden on two May weekends and Buena Vista on two June weekends. RMCC has partnered with Sammer in the passed and he runs excellent classes. RMCC offers a $25 reimbursement to members who successfully complete his class (which costs $225).
