Clinic to review paddling skills in moving water
Offering a day clinic to practice some river skills, helmets required for safety just in case. We will spend the day reviewing strokes and river maneuver while paddling downstream. Group size limited to a few boats.
Review of paddling skills in moving water:
Review Basic Strokes while paddling in current, forward, back, and turning stroke, etc.
Stroke practice: Pry & draws
Cross Forward Stroke
Cross Bow Draw
Maneuvers: Forward & reverse
Moving sideways, side slipping
Turn while underway
Ferries
