Colorado River Trips near Moab June 25 and 26

An exciting trip down the Colorado River near Moab, Utah has just been posted on the RMCC website calendar. It will be two class I (no waves without wind) day trips on the Colorado River. With the river flowing high we could do the 17 miles from Cisco landing to Dewey bridge in one day. This beautiful stretch is on the high colorado plateau with great views of the La Sal Mtss.   We will try to camp near Dewey bridge and do “postcard alley” into the Colorado riverway (near the Moab daily on Sunday (a shorter day).  We could camp at Cisco Landing  Friday night. And hopefully some of us can be early enough to shuttle some cars so we could leave early on Sat.  Both camps are waterless, with outhouses available. Camps at Dewey campground are difficult to get and $15 (can be shared). Blm land or my house are alternate possibilities.

This will be an ACA trip send me your ACA# or I will collect $5 with an ACA waiver. If interested contact Janet Mallory 720-236-5308 or janetrpm@gmail.com .
