We are pleased to announce two new trips down the Colorado River. The first is August 13-14 near Moab and the second is through Glenwood Canyon, near Glenwood Springs on August 20-21. Both are class I, family friendly paddles through beautiful canyon country. But let’s not forget the upcoming annual Rendezvous August 6-7 or the rescheduled day trips down the Arkansas River August 13-14.
Colorado River near Moab Utah
August 13 – August 14
Two class 1 day trips are being offered on the Colorado river in the spectacular cliffs of the Moab area. Current plan is to do the stretch downstream from Moab the first day, (the hwy191 bridge to gold bar or maybe Potash) The stretch upstream (Takeout beach to the hwy191 bridge) the second day. Colorado River: Glenwood Canyon
August 20 – August 21
Two day trips are being offered. The first day is a class 1+ Dotsero to Hanging lake exit. We will find a way to leave a car or bicycle Friday night. The second day is to be determined, depending on water levels and interest. Possibilities include upstream from Dotsero, Eagle river, or downstream, or a first day repeat. Camping also TBD and may not be the best ever. I’m still looking. Dotsero to hanging lake can be a day trip from Denver. Let me know which day or days you would want to participate. Colorado River at Radium Annual Rendezvous

Explore the beautiful Arkansas River near Salida through 2 individual day trips ranging from 6-10 miles a day through class II and III water.
