Planning & Permit Party, January 15

This is a time when members & nonmembers learn about possible 2017 paddle trips for people of all skill levels. If enough people say they want a trip to happen, the club will try to recruit a leader which is often done the night of the party. Some trips will fill up during this event—another reason to attend! This is also the night when groups of people form to submit requests for permits down very popular rivers such as the Smith River (a famous Montana trout stream), Gates of Ladore through Dinosaur National Monument, Salmon River (Idaho), the Rio Chama (New Mexico), or the San Juan River (Utah). This year’s Planning & Permit Party will be held Sunday evening, January 15 in Boulder.
