At the Planning & Permit Party people who signed up for rivers requiring a permit formed small groups to discuss possible dates that the entire group had the option of requesting. No one is required to request these dates, but having as many people as possible apply for the same dates often increases the odds of someone from the group getting a permit. If someone does get a permit it is expected that any unfilled spots not being used by the permit holder are open to the rest of the group. If you are interested in submitting an application, a website address has been provided. Note that January 31 is the deadline for a majority of the rivers on this list. Feel free to email the contact person, if one is listed, to let them know you want to be a part of that group.
