In quick summary, we had our largest party in recent decades at Mat Bozek’s HOA clubhouse in Broomfield. About 50 people attended to elect club officers for 2018 and memorialize the paddling season just ending. The election saw the retention of Doug Hurcomb (quartermaster), Dan Custer (webmaster), and Kit Williams (tripmaster). Kathryn Mutz will succeed Bill Ashworth who is retiring after 7 years as president, and Kathy Ashworth will replace Kathryn as treasurer.
As you’ll see in the report, it was a wonderful year for the club – lots of trips, good participation at all levels, and a record number of households on the roster (since at least 2010). And your retiring president is deeply grateful for all the help, encouragement, and friendship he’s enjoyed over the past seven years. Keep on paddlin’!
