McIntosh Lake has been rescheduled to June 23
Colorado’s rivers are usually running high in June so paddling McIntosh Lake is the perfect venue to get out and enjoy the feel of water under your boat while marveling at the grand scenery of Longs Peak and the surrounding mountain range. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for eagles, herons, ducks, and lots of other wild life. We will meet at Flanders Park, 2207 North Shore Drive, Longmont at 9:30 am, and plan to be in the water by 10:00. Bring a lunch or snack. Everyone is welcome. North Platte River: Glendo to Guernsey, July 21-22
A fun day trip from Glendo Reservoir to Guernsey Reservoir in Wyoming. It is a class I with one class II section of standing waves that can be avoided. We will be camping at Two Moon Campground in Glendo State Park. Contact Bill Ashworth at washworth@gmail.com to register
RMCC Annual Radium Rendezvous, August 3-5
This is our annual get together where the focus is fun and food. Trips for all levels will be available. Between the Saturday night cook-off and Sunday morning pancake breakfast you will be well fueled to paddle one or more sections of the scenic Colorado River. Green River from Mineral bottom to Spanish Bottom
This spectacular Stillwater Canyon stretch is about 50 miles of class I water going through Canyonlands National Park. We should have some time for light side hikes.
