We have moved our website from http://rockymountaincanoeclub.org to http://rockymountaincanoeclub.net.
Why the change the website name? We had a need to leave the old host provider, Clubhosting, mostly because they provided no support. The last time we got a response for a support request was when they had dropped the software that presented our forums. It took 4 months to get that reply. The dwindling support from Clubhosting suggests that they could close shop unannounced.
Our new host provider, GoDaddy, provides immediate support, performs backups, keeps our WordPress software up-to-date, and gives us much more control over our website. Because Clubhosting has not responded to our requests to release our old website name, we have picked a new website name that ends in .net rather than .org.
The new website looks and behaves very much like the old website.
