The RMCC Annual Planning and Permit Party Meeting (PPP) will be held in-person Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Greenway Park Clubhouse: 110 Greenway Drive, Broomfield, CO 80020 — Greenway Park Clubhouse Map.
This will be an Appetizer/Dessert Potluck. Zoom participation will be available during the more formal presentation at 2:30 pm. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the meeting.
There will be time to socialize, and eat, while we mingle and talk informally about possible trips of interest for 2023–permitted or not (1:30-2:30). Then there will be a more formal discussion, presentation, question and answer time (2:30 – 4 pm-ish). Depending on available time, we may have a bit more social time–perhaps with more dessert!
We can use a few volunteers to help with set-up and clean up. Please contact Brookie if you are willing to come a little early (1 pm) and stay a little late (5pm).
The Interest Survey
Like last year, there will be an online river trip Interest Survey available to all members on January 1. Through the survey, members can express interest in coordinating, assisting, and participating in trips listed. Interests expressed before the PPP meeting will be shared at the party, allowing us to see where strong interests lie, where we might need more volunteers to help coordinate or assist, etc. Members interested in the same lottery river permits who want to work together will be able to strategize in their groups about when and how they want to apply.
The survey will be open for a couple of days after the Party to allow for additions and changes arising from party discussions. Please remember, the Interest Survey is just that–a survey of interest. It is not a sign up. Those who’ve expressed interest may be contacted by the Trip Coordinator, if there is one, when they have finalized dates and are ready to open the trip for registration. All club members can contact the Trip Coordinator to join a trip when it has been listed on the RMCC calendar.
