Less than a month to our annual Rendezvous at Radium Campground on the Upper Colorado River. Over the last month, flows have gone from 1500 cfs to over 5000 (Kremmling station). Currently about 2800 cfs they have been dropping gradually. Last year during this time period, flow varied between 500 and 1500 cfs and settled at just under 1000 for the Rendezvous. Perfect in my opinion. So we will hope for reasonable water levels for fun and safe paddling for all abilities this year.
We have Radium’s two group and some sharable individual campsites available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and hope to be on the water Friday through Monday — water, weather, and boaters willing.
