2023 Yukon Trip – Big Salmon River to Yukon River to Dawson 480 miles
Four of us drove North from Colorado to paddle the Big Salmon and Yukon Rivers. It was me and my partner Judy in my patched up Pakcanoe 170, and our friends Tracy and Janet (T/J) in their 14.5’ sea kayaks. I’d spent much of the past winter and spring making repairs to the hull that a Grizzly Bear had wrecked last summer and this would be the first major test of my repairs.
