I joined the club after the last of the Voyageur’s Companion newsletters were published, so I did not know what I was missing. Had I been receiving them, I would have looked forward to the each issue coming in the mail. Not only did they list upcoming trips and trip reports, they included articles on a variety of topics written by club members. What new and interesting articles could there be? Maybe stories like Lyn’s about being stalked by a bear in Quetico, or a recap of the safety fair that I missed. And what is nail soup? I did find the answer.
This is a treasure trove of club history. Hope you enjoy it.
