Do any of you have interest in a Class II, ‘Intermediate’ Canoe Skills Workshop at this year’s Rendezvous? We would work on ferries, peel-outs and eddy turns on a section of the river with up to Class II rapids. You must have solid Class I experience to participate, i.e., not be new to canoeing on a river.
You must have your own canoe with flotation and a helmet. Solo and tandem canoes are welcome.
If there is enough interest, we may offer this workshop on Saturday morning, 8/3/24. Sign up will be first-come-first-served and the class size will be limited by the number of instructors available.
