Rendezvous Update – July 18 – 19

With the high water in the Colorado rivers this summer, we’re keeping a close eye on the Colorado at Radium in light of our July Rendezvous. Right now, the trend is very encouraging. This morning the gauge near Kremmling (and below the confluence with the Blue River) is reading 4700 cfs BUT it was 7800 only 4-5 days ago. In fact, its been dropping around 800 cfs per day and so we have high confidence that we’ll have fun but safe levels by July 18th (we like between 1000 and 3000 cfs). If however, the trend changes and we have high water in mid-July, we have a back-up date of August 29th if we need it.

Stay tuned and start researching killer Dutch Oven recipes!
