RMCC Day Trip on the 4^th of July

South Platte River: Kersey to Kuner

If you’re not paddling elsewhere, come join us for a fun and easy Class I five mile section of the South Platte east of Greeley for the 4^th of July. The flow is running a bit under 1000 cfs – a nice flow and no portages on this section. This section is suitable for most all paddle craft.

Logistics: all locations are on the North side of the Platte

    Meet up Time: 10am

    Put-in: County Road 53 bridge 1.3 miles north of US34 in Kersey

    Take-out: County Road 61 bridge 1.2 miles north of US34 in Kuner

Kersey is about 60 miles (1.25 hours) northeast of Boulder
