Annual Poudre Paddlers Rodeo
Not an RMCC event but lots of fun and many RMCC paddlers attend each year
What: Poudre Paddlers Picnic and Rodeo
When: Sunday, September 11th, 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Where: Union Reservoir in Longmont – Pavilion near swim beach – see link below *
Who: You, your family, friends – anyone interested in paddling
Why: We have a lot of fun!
Please plan to attend the 10th annual Poudre Paddlers Picnic & Rodeo on September 11th at Union Reservoir in Longmont.
The day will include:
– Trying each other’s boats and paddles
– Paddling contests, training, games
– Barbecue & Potluck – We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and water.
Paddlers of all ages are invited, and so are your family and friends who are interested in paddling!
PLEASE BRING:
- A Side Dish to Share – Chips, fruit, salad, dessert, etc.
- Plates, cups and utensils. (We will have a limited supply of disposable items)
- Boats to paddle and share (You don’t have to have a boat to come and have fun!)
- Chairs
- Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, towels, change of clothes
RSVP WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
- How many are coming (helps us plan food)
- Your planned side dish (salad, chips, dessert, etc)
- How many hamburgers and/or hot dogs your group may consume
- Any questions

Asides:
There is a park entry fee of $8.00 per vehicle (unlimited passengers). No alcohol or glass containers.
