Paddle the beautiful Buffalo River, America’s first designated Wild and Scenic River in Arkansas. The Buffalo is known for drastic water fluctuations, from not enough water to paddle the upper section, to stay away-it’s flooded. We will hope for just right. The plan is to paddle from Ponca to Buffalo City, about 125 miles. We will be primitive camping along the river. The approximate cost for the car shuttle is about $110 per vehicle.
