The Quickstart Your Canoe course from ACA is designed to introduce/expose the participant to sufficient skill and knowledge to enjoy the sport of canoeing. Designed for flatwater these skills are readily transferable to whitewater. Classes will be taught by Jeff Oxenford and other club instructors. You will need your own equipment (boat, PFD, and other equipment). You must be a ACA member or pay a $5 event fee. There is also an admission fee to Bear Creek Lake Park
