Rio Chama, NM
July 4, 2014 – July 6, 2014
A Wild and Scenic river, the Rio Chama flows through the beautiful red rock country of northern New Mexico. This is a 3-day permitted trip with several Class III rapids. We will launch on Friday to take advantage of the releases from El Vado reservoir and camp 2 nights. If flows are insufficient, we will run the Rio Grande River from Espanola to Cochiti Reservoir.
This is an ACA-sanctioned outing/event which requires EITHER ACA membership OR a $5/person ACA fee.
